ABOUT LOGOFURTHER

My name is Toby Naylor, I am 22 years old and currently living in the UK.

I began editing years ago using Windows Movie Maker: a very simple, easy to use preinstalled software on most PCs, and found myself extremely limited in what I really wanted to create. So I began to save my pocket money for something a little more adventurous and eventually invested in Sony Vegas and Adobe After Effects. In terms of being an editor, I was now the small fish in the big pond (see picture). The possibilities were endless and imagining exactly what I wanted to create came easily to me but my editing ability simply couldn't match it. So I began to teach myself using Youtube tutorials and experimenting with different designs. I have been editing for roughly 7 years now, but very periodically between my time at University (studying Marine Biology - also see picture) and returning home. 

 

LoGoFurther is the result of wanting to get something more out of this hobby. I realised I could take the skills I was learning and the software I was using and apply them to the real world. The idea first came to me through a friend of mine on Facebook who was trying to promote her business and sell products via picture uploads. The files had a low resolution and just what the product was and did still remains a mystery to me...

 

I realised then that with the use of a video, you could structure your advertisement

to have your business name and products appear in a smooth, dynamic and clear animation, guaranteed to capture the attention of your audience and create a subconscious desire for your product.
